When God wishes to bless people, He bestows knowledge upon them. On the other
hand, if scientists and sharia scholars are scarce, the Islamic nation should
then be alarmed as this is not a healthy sign. That would be the result of God's
wrath. However, we do enjoy the presence of many scientists and scholars in
various fields.
Our character is one of the prominent figures who greatly helped in the
preservation of the Saudi cultural heritage. Moreover, he contributed to
enriching the culture of today by being inspired from its past and then
employing it in such a way that further enroots its presence and growth in
Saudis. One can say that he read history with his insight and projected it in
policy, art and folklore.
Our character is Abd Allah Bin Mohammed Bin Abd Allah Ababtain.
The best testimony to our words is his very works which, though rare, are
abundant in thought, objectivity and insight.

Rawdat Sodair:
This book explains the geography of part of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. It
focuses on recording the cultural heritage, customs and traditions peculiar to
this part along with analysis of its features to project a clear image of this
part.
The Relationships Between King Abd al-Aziz and the Sharif Hussein:

The book tackles the historical origins of the Arabian Peninsula since the
reigns of King Abd al-Aziz Bin Saoud and the Sharif Hussein. The author employs
the centre of the Peninsula as the base from which he analyzes the disputes and
events of that time from within to reach solid historical and political facts.

His Life:
- He started his primary school in his hometown, Rawdat Sodair.
He then moved to al-Ahsaa and completed his primary education there.
- He then moved again to Riyadh this time and completed his preparatory and
secondary education there.
- He enrolled in Riyadh University and successfully graduated from it in 1387
Hijri.
- He worked as an employee in an early age and worked in several ministries and
departments.
- He was sent to the United States in a scholarship in 1975.
- He obtained his M.A. from Portland State University (a government-run
university). He also took several steps towards getting his Ph.D. but he
discontinued due to personal reasons.
- He has several contributions in his field of study.
- He currently holds the position of the deputy of the general secretary of King
Abd al-Aziz's Library and the general director of its art department.
