Volunteering for and devoting efforts to the environment is considered a patriotic duty and a public and national call. Nations worldwide support and pay special attention to the environment due to its impact on all aspects of life and on public health. Environment deterioration entails health deterioration, increase in diseases and decrease in food production which, in its turn, leads to a negative effect o society.

Environmental issues enjoy much attention from the international community nowadays. Environmental awareness increases worldwide, especially in industrial companies. This is quite clear in:

1. Establishing a program specialized in protecting the environment by the United Nations. (United Nations Environment Program)
2. The emergence of a number of governmental and non-governmental organizations in the advanced countries. These organizations adopt environmental issues and protecting it from damages.
3. The existence of a number of international agreements concerned with environment protection such as the Convention for the Protection of the Ozone Layer (1985), the Climate Change Convention, the desertification-related convention and the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD) (1992).

Environmental issues enjoy much attention from the international community nowadays. Environmental awareness increases worldwide, especially in industrial companies. This is quite clear in:

IESCOM seeks to realize a number of essential goals by providing its environmental services and developing its web site of which the foremost are:

1. Spreading environment-awareness and warning against environmental hazards which have turned into a growing source of national disturbance in the course of international interest in man's surrounding environment due to its impact on his health, life and way of living. Environment-protection is not a luxury; it is now simply a must.
2. Working towards increasing interest in the environment and its problems. This interest is quite scarce in developing countries, including the Arab states and many of the Islamic ones on governmental, organizational and public levels. These countries still consider the environment and its problems a sort of luxury and a characteristic of the industrial countries. Therefore, interest in the environment in many of the developing countries has not exceeded the interest of the financial benefits these organizations receive without actually utilize them and put them into use to effectively fight its environmental problems.
3. Contributing to preserving and protecting wildlife by:
1. Protecting living creatures from extinction.
2. Protecting the ozone layer.
3. Decreasing the gases that lead to climate-change.
4. Decreasing toxic waste and chemical substances that harm the environment.
5. Decreasing the consumption of fresh water and protecting it.
