Paying attention to the environment and protecting it is a vital issue imposing itself in today's world. Man cannot do without his environment. It is the place that he lives in, breathing its air, extracting his food, water and clothing from, building his house and is influenced by its gravity and climate. But with the advent of the Renaissance Age, industry spreading, the use of the machine and the misuse of various materials, this "home" has experienced several changes that it cannot quite absorb. Hence, serious environmental problems have arisen. Also, ecology has emerged in the early days of the twentieth century to become a branch of biology. It focuses on the relation between the living creatures and the environment.
Keeping an eye on a balanced and clean environment as a human right is no more than one of many rights generating from current cultural, technological and scientific developments.
This interest has turned into a political term in the mid-twentieth century. It has been used by the "Green" movements to reach its political goals regarding the environment, of which the most important is the right to live in a clean and balanced environment.
